St Laurent Classic

International Wine Challenge Trophy Winner
‘Clean, floral nose. Lovely palate of wild strawberry, raspberry and pomegranate fruit with a silky edge. Good balance and length. Very good traditional example of its kind.’
Decanter World Wine Awards Silver Medal Winner
‘Full, quite complex, warm, ripe nose. Intense fruit with a bit of elderberry. Firm tannic texture. Good length.’
2007 This is a wonderful example of St Laurent with a darkly scented but still youthful nose, moving to concentrated fruits on the palate, of berries and dark cherries. It has a very solid structure with good balance and enough tannins to ensure a good length, without overpowering the more delicate flavours. St Laurent is distantly related to Pinot Noir and found mainly in and around Austria.
