Dessert Wine - Samling Trockenbeerenauslese

With Bernd’s skill this is a sweet, but not too cloying wine with powerful honeyed fruits on the nose and palate to rival the great tba’s of Austria and Germany. The term tba is one of the highest classifications given to sweet wines and refers to the hand picking of carefully selected grapes that have been affected by noble rot (where the grapes are left with extremely high levels of sugar) resulting in extra rich sweet wines. This style of wine is where the Samling 88 variety really shines as all its varietal qualities can be expressed.
