Gruner Veltliner 2009
A classic easy drinking Grüner Veltliner made by Heinrich Hartl. We tasted many, but this was the one we kept coming back to. Green & white pepper on the nose teamed with a touch of lime. The palate has fresh acidity, a light fruity herbaciousness & a crisp finish. A wonderful semi-dry wine that is eminently drinkable. One of the few wines to drink with asparagus, but great with almost anything ranging from fresh fish to schnitzel.
